He who loves practice without theory is like the sailor who boards ship without a rudder and compass and never knows where he may cast."
-Leonardo da Vinci

The KA Fine Art Atelier (KAFA) is dedicated to preserving and advancing traditional methods of teaching drawing and painting, nurturing the next generation of master artists. The term atelier is French for "studio" or "workshop," reflecting our commitment to a hands-on, immersive learning experience.

At KAFA, students build a strong foundation in drawing and painting by learning classical techniques and methods. With dedication and practice, students can unlock new levels of artistic freedom. With the right guidance and practice, anyone can reach a high level of mastery. No prior experience is required for admission. We welcome all. With a flexible, self-paced curriculum, students can choose full-time or part-time study programs, progressing at their own pace.

Our Faculty
Faculties at KAFA are practicing artists trained in the classical tradition, ensuring consistent instruction.

Mr Ashok
Ashok founded the atelier in 2015 with the belief that every artist should have the opportunity to learn the essential technical skills and draftsmanship of fine art. He began his intensive training in drawing and painting in 2005 following the age-old tradition of classical fine arts. Over the years, he has dedicated much of his time to mastering his craft and refining his teaching methods in the classical tradition.

He draws inspiration from centuries of artistic knowledge and nature. His expertise include Figurative, Portrait, Composition, Landscapes and Philosophy/Nature of Art.

We regularly have visiting instructors.
